Christian launches discrimination claim

Celestina Mba, a devout Christian, is launching legal action against Merton Council claiming she suffered constructive dismissal after being forced to work on Sundays. Ms Mba, who worked in a care home for disabled children, alleges the authority pressured her to work and threatened her with disciplinary measures after she refused due to her religious beliefs.
