Crisptastic - local girl in bid to win crisp competition
Former Leftwich County High School pupil Vicky Howard is hoping she can count on the support of her home town in her quest to win £50,000 from crisps company Walkers.
The 21-year-old is in line for the windfall if her creation, Crispy Duck & Hoisin, wins a text vote in the nationwide Do Us A Flavour competition.
Vicky, from Antrobus, took her campaign for votes to Sainsbury's on Thursday, and helped raise money for charity.Walkers are donating a percentage of money spent on the crisps to the Comic Relief. If successful, Victoria will also pick up 1% of future sales of her flavour. Members of the public can vote for her up until May 1.
